Kentucky Fried Chicken Relaunches Grilled Chicken That’s 20% Bigger

Back in 2009, Kentucky Fried Chicken introduced one of their biggest products launches to date — a grilled chicken recipe. Two years later, the brand has taken their white breast meat and made sure they are 20 percent larger than their initial offering.

This chicken-size announcement comes on the heels of yesterday’s news that the company is creating a “C-Suite” position designed to kick off its new Cook Certification Program. The program is set to help maintain food quality at its more than 5,000 restaurants nationwide. Aaron Person, a 25-year veteran KFC cook from Orlando, FL was recently named the Chief Chicken Officer. Person was selected from a pool of thousands of trained KFC cooks coast-to-coast after a nomination and interview process.
