This Cannon Shoots Mexican Food Into The Crowd And Our Hearts

If you’re a taco lover and have ever wished you could have tacos shot directly into your mouth, this blaster brings us one step closer to that dream.

The University of Nebraska-Omaha will be debuting a taco cannon during its hockey home games, which will shoot into the crowd, foil-wrapped tacos from a local taqueria called Voodoo Taco.

Eric Newton of Voodoo Taco is the creator of this weapon, and has been making adjustments to his taco shooter since April.

“I wouldn’t say it’s restaurant quality by the time it gets to them, but it’s edible,” Newton told KETV News, as edible tacos are all you can really hope for out of something like this.

The test video below shows Newton shooting tacos at UNO’s goalie at crazy speeds, so hopefully one of the cannon’s adjustments is velocity control so fans won’t be decapitated:

Omaha-Nebraska plays its first home game Friday, Oct. 23, so fans better get ready to catch some not very great, but still edible Mexican food while watching a bunch of bros fly around in skates.
