Finally, Wine Glasses That Cannot Be Knocked Over

Too many drinks in this world have fallen and led to ruined pants, sticky floors and wasted dollars at the bar. While spilled drinks have been a problem, seemingly too difficult to prevent, Mighty Mug Barware came out with a pretty solid solution to our constant party fouls.

Mighty Mug, the same people that brought you spill-proof coffee mugs, now has spill-proof drink glasses.

The glasses use “Smartgrip” technology that makes them stick to the table and can hold down your drink from whichever side it gets hit.

They made a point in saying the Smartgrip technology isn’t exactly a suction cup, so lifting it off the table to drink won’t be a hassle.

They have several types of glass styles covered, including double old fashioned glasses, pint glasses, tall pilsner glasses and wine stem glasses.

The Mighty Mug barware had no problem reaching its $5,000 Kickstarter goal, and as of this writing, had over $21,000 raised with 23 days to go.

If you want to catch the first wave of these, the minimum pledge is $30, for two glasses, and will ship out in December.
