Pumpkin Shipment Had $6 Million Of Cocaine Hidden Inside
The Port of Philadelphia got a little extra in their September 17 shipment as $6 million-worth of cocaine were found inside Costa Rican pumpkins and squashes, according to the AP.
A total of 360 pounds of coke were seized by federal agents, making it the 8th biggest coke bust ever.
Philly DEA said they got a tip about the coke that was traveling inside the Santa Maria ship.
No reports on how the coke got in the pumpkins and squashes, but it’s doubtful that it grew in there naturally.
Insert joke here about Pumpkin Spice Lattes containing coke, or something.
