Quick And Easy Way To Make Pork Rind Onion Rings

Chicharrones, or pork rinds, are the crispy, fatty pork belly that dreams are made of. Combine that with an essential staple on appetizer menus and you have a recipe for greatness.

Amy Erickson of Oh, Bite It always destroys crazy recipes like this, and these Chicharron Onion Rings are no different.

All she used were a couple onions, bags of both spicy and regular pork rinds, eggs, flour, cooking oil and, of course, a deep fryer.

Erickson chopped the onions, battered them, rolled them in crushed rinds and dropped them in the fryer for a few seconds.

It’s that easy.
