This Year’s Fair Will Feature DEEP-FRIED SLIM FAST BARS

For those who roam around the fair looking for healthier alternatives to the gluttonous mess you find at every booth, the notorious Chicken Charlie wants to help you out.

The Southern California-based restaurant known for deep frying the hell out of everything at California state fairs, will now be doing so to Slim Fast bars.

His bar of choice will be the Chewy Chocolate Crisp Slim Fast bar, which he will dip in pancake batter, deep fry, powder with sugar and drizzle with chocolate syrup.

Along with the Deep Fried Slim Fast bar, Charlie will be debuting a Totally Fried Peanut Butter Pickle and a Totally Fried S’moreo.

Chicken Charlie’s will be setting up shop at four California fairs this year as you’ll find these fried treats at the San Diego County Fair (June 5-July 5), the Orange County Fair (July 17-August 16), Los Angeles County Fair (Sept. 4-27), and The Big Fresno Fair (Oct. 7-18).

For those who are fans of the other crazy fried foods from the restaurant, Chicken Charlie’s will be bringing back past favorites such as the Krispy Kreme Triple Decker Cheeseburger, Bacon Wrapped Pickle, Grilled Chicken Kabob, BBQ Chicken Legs, Totally Fried frog legs, fried avocado, fried Twinkies and fried Oreos.

Out of all those things, the pancake-battered, fried Slim Fast bar seems like your healthiest option. Good luck with that.
