The ANIMAL KINGDOM BURGER Combines Every Meat You Can Think Of Into One Monster Patty

It’s called the ANIMAL KINGDOM BURGER, and it includes every meat our local butcher would let us put into a burger patty (they’re awesome, so they let us do everything).

Growing up, every trip to the butcher with my parents left me wondering, “Has anyone ever ground up allllll the meats in here?” and “I wonder what heart tastes like?” Now I’m old enough to do the shit I want, as stupid as it may sound.

So when we were tasked to create the best burger we could think of for a Budweiser campaign, instead of consulting a chef like we usually do, we opted to let our butcher do the work. I trotted down the street to Electric City Butcher, asked them to grind up as many meats as possible, and pound out two patties for what I wanted to call The Animal Kingdom burger…because we included every meat in sight. Chorizo? Check. Short rib? Double check. Pig heart I found in the fridge? TRIPLE CHECK.

This is what a pig heart looks like before it’s ground up:

For the actual burger design, we kept it as simple as possible so we could taste the meat. Just a little scratch-made thousand island spread, cheese and a middle bun to keep things in order. Needless to say, every last bite was glorious.

Ladies and gentlemen, the ANIMAL KINGDOM BURGER:
