Starbucks Now Has Flaky Pepperoni PIZZA CROISSANTS
Lately, Starbucks has added some interesting items to its menu, such as the S’mores Frappuccino and the cookie straw. Even with those cool new additions, there was a menu item that they didn’t quite hype as much for some reason.
According to Starbucks Melody, Starbucks added a new Pepperoni “Foldover” to its menu and it’s the perfect excuse to eat pizza for breakfast.
The Volpi Pepperoni and Tomato Foldover is essentially a folded up croissant with naturally-cured pepperoni, tomato and melted cheese oozing inside it.
Joining the Volpi Pepperoni (270 calories) are the Ham and Cheese Foldover, and Wheat Spinach Savory Foldover. The ham Foldover has Swiss cheese and is about 250 calories. The spinach one has spinach, shallots and a bechemal sauce.
Starbucks already had some flaky pastry square versions of the Spinach, and ham with cheese, but never had anything like the pepperoni pizza version.
So when you make your usual Starbucks run tomorrow, keep an eye out for the pizza-like Foldover so it can accompany your S’mores Frap and cookie straw.
