‘Breaking Bad’ Creator Says Los Pollos Hermanos Might Become A Real Chicken Restaurant

While the finale has been over for years, AMC’s Breaking Bad is still fresh in our minds. In a recent Reddit AMA with creator Vince Gilligan, someone asked if he would ever consider opening a Los Pollos Hermanos. The infamous chicken restaurant was a businesses owned by fictional villain Gus Fringe who also ran a successful drug empire.

Gilligan respsonse to the question:

Believe it or not … there is talk of a Pollos Hermanos becoming a real restaurant. This is not an idea that I generated personally. But it’s one that’s been presented to me, through the good folks at Sony, and the idea came to them from a businessman who has an interest in doing just that. Speaking for myself, I’d love to see that happen!

There you have it. Fans might see a Los Pollos Hermanos one day. Whether or not the quality of chicken will be as good as they make it out to be on the show remains to be seen. The novelty, however, will be enough give business a pretty great jump start.

Villigan’s Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul has recently just complete its first season.
