Subway Adding Guac To The Menu For Cinco De Mayo

Cinco de Mayo is around the corner, that means we’re going to have a blitz of Mexicanish-inspired foods being available at restaurants.

Last week Taco Bell announced it would release a new Diablo Salsa for the holiday, and in the lastest kind of, sort of, Mexicanish food announcement, Subway has announced that it will add guacamole to its menu for a limited time starting May 1.

Subway has had avocado options on its menu, but now it will mash it up with jalapeno peppers, onion, garlic, salt and vinegar to make its precious guacamole.

Of course, subway has a monthly featured sandwich, and May’s featured sub will be a Chipotle Chicken Melt with guacamole. Again, something that sort of sounds Mexican in honnor of Cinco de Mayo.

Viva Mexico! Kind of.
