Man Kills Himself In Las Vegas Resort After Losing Lifetime Of Free Meals At Buffet

This past Sunday, a man shot himself at the M Resort in Las Vegas and left a 270-page suicide note attributing his death to depression caused by the loss of his lifetime free pass to the resort’s buffet.

The man, John Noble, had his free buffet pass revoked after he repeatedly harassed female resort employees. This was the second time Noble had his all-you-can-eat card taken away — the first time was shortly before Easter in 2013 when he stalked a woman and threatened to kill himself, which resulted in a stay at a psychiatric hospital.

Noble, who won meals for life back in 2010, mailed an excruciatingly detailed 270-page suicide note, along with photographs and a DVD, to the Las Vegas Review Journal before setting fire to his car and shooting himself at the buffet on Easter in front of families and children.

One witness, 13-year-old Sierra Abanilla, explained:

“My brother and I were about (7 feet) away from him, but my grandma was about two steps from him […] We heard this loud boom, and it sounded like a balloon that popped but it was too loud to be that. I was in shock … I couldn’t think, hear, or feel. It was like my senses just stopped working.”

Noble’s suicide note begins: “Today, I end my life due to the M Resort Spa Casino and its employees.” The second to last page of the note, titled “The Curse,” spells out all the bad things he wished upon the M Resort staff, several of whom are women he showered with gifts and unwanted attention when he first won meals for life.

Fortunately, no one was injured at the scene.
