5 of the Most Insanely Delicious Microwave Burgers You’ve Ever Seen
What do you get when you ask five of the web’s most notorious, buzzworthy chef-tographers to think up crazy ideas using a microwavable burger patty?
You get five insanely clever ideas that aren’t dependent on an outdoor grill.
To get it rollin’, we sent packages of Ball Park fully cooked, microwavable Flame Grilled Patties to the doorsteps of our favorite creators so they’d have a burger patty option that tastes like it came off a grill, without having to actually use one.
With their creative juices spewin’ all over their respective kitchens, the results were crazy to say the least. Out the other end came creations like an Eggs Benedict Burger with a chorizo hollandaise sauce and another burger with a bun made entirely of cheese and cheeseballs.
Let the delicious games begin:
The Stack
by Mathew Ramsey
Carb up! Famed Internet Foodtographer Mathew Ramsey chose a Ball Park Flame Grilled Beef Patty and topped it with sriracha mayo, shaved pork crisps, fried jalapeno pickles, crispy onions, horseradish cheese and grilled pineapple. Completing the island feel, he used two griddled rice patties instead of bread—because if you’re gonna carb up, you might as well do it right!
Burger Benedict
by Culinary Brodown aka Josh Scherer
Culinary Brodown earned his keep on the Internet and made waves with creations like a Ramen Donut, but this time he’s smashing together an eggs Benedict burger concept. The beautifully vulgar creation rocks American cheese, spicy cappicola, onion rings, chorizo Hollandaise sauce, two Ball Park Beef & Onion Patties and a poached egg. Could the world be anymore right?

Brunch Turkey Burger
by NYC Dining aka Skyler Bouchard
Skyler Bouchard is notorious for her well-kept NYC-based food Instagram and constantly stumbling across the dopest of the dope throughout the city. Drawing inspiration from the increasingly eye-catching bagel sandwiches garnering thousands of likes on Instagram, Skyler imagined an entire brunch meal in one sandwich: Ball Park Flame Grilled Turkey Patty, homemade hash browns, bacon, egg, American cheese, provolone cheese, avocado, tomato, mayo and sriracha, all sandwiched between an everything bagel.

Pho Burger
by Peter Pham
Foodbeast’s own Peter Pham decided to somehow interpret an entire bowl of pho as a burger. The bun is made from deep-fried pho noodles, the Ball Park Beef Patties are topped with a hoisin butter sauce, onions, red and green chili peppers, cilantro, green onions and a sriracha bean sprout slaw. Keeping with the traditional pho flavors, Pete also plated his dish with mint and lime.

Cheeseball Bun Burger
by Nick of Dude Foods
Nick from DudeFoods is known at the Foodbeast office as one of the most renegade food bloggers around—rising to Internet stardom on the back of creations like the Alphabet Sandwich and Chicken and Waffle Wings. When it comes to Nick’s Cheeseball Bun creation, it’s clear that his mind goes down a path most wouldn’t even know existed.
What’s amazing is how easy the buns were to make:
To create the cheese ball buns I took a glass bowl, lined the bottom with cheese balls and topped them with shredded cheese. I then microwaved each bowl for 40 seconds and then used a knife to pry the buns out. Boom! It’s that easy!
Once his buns were made, he situated a bevy of Ball Park Flame Grilled Patties in his sandwich, using everything from the original Beef, Turkey and Beef & Cheese varieties. GAME. CHANGER.
