Joulies: Regulate The Temperature of Your Coffee and Tea

Coffee Joulies are magic beans that are meant to regulate the temperature of your coffee. They work to absorb any excess thermal energy when the coffee is initially poured too hot to drink, and release that same stored thermal energy back into the coffee after time to keep your liquid at the optimal temperature range twice as long. These patent pending beans were invented by two boys named Dave who were classmates in Pennington, New Jersey.

The two men took their patent pending upstart project to to Kickstarter, a crowd-sourced funding website. Their initial asking of $9,500 was reached, with over $76,625 pledged to date from a total of 1,317 different backers. While their product is not yet for sale, the beans seem to be very much on their way. We’ll let you know as soon as they become available. Until then, more information can be found on the product’s website, Joulies.com.
