When I think comfort food, there’s nothing that usually hits the spot like a savory pie. Imagine a pie that utilized tightly woven, thick-sliced peppered bacon as the crust. Next, imagine a filling of luscious macaroni and cheese. Still up for more? Imagine a weave of applewood smoked bacon covering the entire pie with a hearty helping of breadcrumbs to even things out.
