Walgreens Releases “Big Flats” Line of In-House Beer

For those Walgreens fanatics out there (sounds ridiculous, but they do exist), you’ll be delighted to know that the well-known drugstore chain has rolled out its own line of beer. Big Flats 1901 Premium Lager supposedly compares to PBR and is produced by the California-based Winery Exchange, the same people who create private-labeled beer and wine for groups such as 7-Eleven and Costco. According to a report from the Chicago Tribune, the new beer is being sold in more than 4,600 Walgreens US locations. If you’ve tried this beer, what do you think? Decent? Superb? Terrible?
