Volkswagen’s Mini Darth Vader is a PB&J Fan

The big game of 2011 has come and gone, but one of the most talked about sequences of the game’s record-low broadcast time came in the form of a Star Wars-heavy Volkswagen commercial. The 60-second version of the commercial follows a mini-Darth Vader as he attempts to use “The Force” on varying items throughout his home, with no level of success (until the end). One of the items he fails at is his mother’s homemade Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich. Don’t read too far into the screen grab above; the only reason Mini-Vader is disgruntled is because his mom slid the plate over before his mind tricks could do it. Actor Max Page did an excellent job portraying the pint-sized version of the Dark Lord of the Sith.
