Make Incredibly Realistic Geode Rock Candy [WATCH]

I collected rocks back in the day, and geodes were always the coolest to snag. You know — the ones that have colorful crystal-like patterns inside. Of course you can find ’em in the gift shop of a science museum, but thanks to Ann Reardon of How To Cook That, we can now make candy versions in our very own kitchens. And that’s way tastier.

It might seem like an intimidating project, but making one of these edible rocks isn’t as complicated as it seems. The recipe basically involves chocolate, fondant and sugar — that’s it!

Sure it takes a bit of time to construct the whole thing, but the end result will be totally worth it. Just follow Ann’s instructional video below:
