Taco Bell Faces Lawsuit That Questions Their Beef Quality

According to a few reports being highlighted over at OCR, we’re now tuned into a Class Action Lawsuit being levied against Taco Bell. According to a PDF file made public earlier, we get a complete look at the suit and its intricacies. The basis of the suit challenges the chain’s use of the term “beef”, arguing that the that the filling in many of its “beef” food items is not actually “seasoned ground beef” or “seasoned beef”. In fact, it’s actually more filler than actual meat, with the “taco meat filling” not even meeting minimum standards set by the USDA to be labeled or advertised as “beef”. The suit seeks an action to require Taco Bell “to properly advertise and label these food items and to engage in a corrective advertising campaign to educate the public about the true content of its food Products“. Chime in! Do you guys think Taco Bell is in the wrong?
