The Luther Sandwich

An off-the-menu item at Churchkey Washington, D.C., the New Luther Sandwich is a fun play on the Luther sandwich. The sandwich that topped Endless Simmer‘s list of new sandwiches for 2011, this badboy is made from a house-made brioche donut, glazed in maple-chicken jus and topped with warm oven-baked pecans, sandwiching a piece of buttermilk fried chicken and wedges of applewood smoked bacon.
