Jelly Belly Announces New Flavors for 2011

Jelly Belly will be making some fun introductions at the upcoming 2011 Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco. On deck will be a completely new candy item for the company, the Jelly Belly Chocolate Dips. This new candy will feature gourmet jelly beans drenched in dark chocolate, with flavors including Very Cherry, Raspberry, Strawberry, Coconut and Orange.

The other item getting the intro-treatment from the Jelly Belly brand is their Peas & Carrots mellocreme. Yes, not sure what their thought process was behind this one, but luckily, the “baby carrots” taste nothing like the real thing, instead, the brand opted for an orange sherbet flavor and the “peas” embody a green apple flavor. The mix of the two should provide a rather delectable taste in the mouth. The Chocolate Dips should be available in stores now, while the Peas & Carrots variety should be shipping to stores nationwide by February. (Thx ShoppingBlog)
