Carl’s Jr. Performs Fast Food Miracle, Resurrects Smoked Sausage Breakfast Biscuit
Carl’s Jr. is bringing back a fan favorite and relaunching their Hillshire Farm Smoked Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit. Attentive Carl’s Jr. customers might remember an earlier version of the cheesy breakfast sandwich, which was served on a croissant (we’re talking way back, in that dark era before Carl’s Jr. even sold biscuits) and disappeared from Carl’s Jr. breakfast menus in 2008.
Flash forward to present day, and our newly biscuit-ified sandwich has been resurrected from the dead and given a dramatic makeover. It now features a split Hillshire Farm smoked sausage, folded egg, and American cheese, with an official Carl’s Jr. Made From Scratch biscuit to tie the whole thing together. The whole sandwich adds up to about 660 calories, which isn’t bad for a meat and cheese breakfast item. And the fact that every sausage, cheese, and egg-filled bite serves as a testament to the power of fast-food resurrection? Just a bonus.
