The McDonald’s Car French Fry Holder, For Conscientious Commuters

In today’s “This is Why I’m Broke” news, McDonald’s Japan is now offering a nifty little branded “potato holder” which allows guests to enjoy their always fresh McDonald’s fries while driving, without endangering the lives of everyone around them. At least, not too much.

Resembling the chain’s iconic red fry cartons, the holders are designed to rest in most standard-sized cup holders and are available in Japan from now until the end of May, free with any purchase of a value meal and a large order of fries.

Now you can nosh on your favorite deep fried julienned potatoes without ever taking your eyes off the road. Except for when you Instagram them. And when you tweet at @McDonald’s saying how much you love their food. And when you call your mom asking what’s for dinner. What? You’re a safe driver, no one ever said you were perfect.
