This Bacon Easter Egg Has Its Own Kinder Surprise

Mike, the man behind this bacon wonder, came up with the recipe for one simple and beautiful reason: “Dear Internet – I heard you like bacon, so I made this for you.”

Aw shucks.

Behold: The Bacon Easter Egg, aka the Fabergé egg of greasy, greasy meat. Using an oval pie dish and a domed pad of aluminum foil , Mike was able to replicate an egg’s round shape by wrapping weaved bacon around the makeshift mold.

After baking the bacon-egg in the oven for half an hour, he made it the “centrepiece of a full English Breakfast” — filling it with  Cumberland sausages and fried slices of black pudding.

I think I just found a new container for my eggs, toast, nutella, breakfast, lunch, dinner. Don’t judge me.

Head over here to get the recipe.
