Denny’s Cafe: A Prototype Fast-Food Version of its Own Restaurant

Imagine everything you can find in a normal Denny’s restaurant, but smaller. With a November 1st opening date, Denny’s Cafe is the chain’s prototype fast-food equivalent to their full-sized restaurants. The company is using Orange County as the guinea pig, and will be the first of many similar locations opening across the country. The cafe will feature Denny’s favorites such as the Grand Slam breakfast, as well as some new value foods priced between $2 to $8, along with a self-serve beverage and coffee bar. According to the OC Register, “Denny’s is toying with the idea of serving espresso drinks”. The restaurant will work similarly to the service experience found at a Corner Bakery, where you place your order at a takeout counter and your food is brought out to the table. The roughly 3,500 sq. ft. location will be opening across the street from Chapman Medical center in Orange, CA in the Ralphs shopping center. What do you guys think?
