Dunkin’ Donuts: Monkey-See Monkey-DOnut

Starting now, the winner of Dunkin’ Donuts “Create Dunkin’s Next Donut” contest Rachel Davis will get to see her donut available nationwide. Through September 12th, the Monkey-See Monkey-DOnut will be available at participating locations, after being chosen from nearly 90,000 contest submissions. What does it take to be the winner? A bananas foster-filled donut topped with chocolate icing and chopped Reese’s(r) PEanut Butter chips will do the trick. Rachel received $12,000 along with the opportunity to have her creation sold nationwide at participating locations.

The 60,000 contest submissions led to 12 contest finalists who all received $1,200 and traveled to the Dunkin’ Donuts University in Braintree, Mass. for a bake-off presided over by the Dunkin’ Donuts culinary team and culinary leaders. This is the setting where Rachel Davis smoked her competition, and put her name down in Dunkin’ Donuts history. Congrats!
