Adventure: Ginza Sushi (Fullerton, CA)

The homie Justin “Anthrax” Bazant is one of my longtime friends from high school, and whenever he’s in the OC area, this guy always is down for the Foodbeast adventure. Going against Yelp predictions (can’t always trust the masses), we took a break from a leisurely summer pool day to come check out Ginza Sushi in Fullerton, CA. These guys are still a relatively new joint, but they have some great prices, a nice location and interior and a killer happy hour.

Just want to preface with an apology on the lack of reporting we have from this place. We were there to eat after a long day of swimming, “Foodbeast” reporting architecture was not followed as normal. Either way, per usual, we of course tried the roll named after the city the location is (in this case, the “Fullerton Roll”), which was absolutely delicious and filling. It’s the one below with all the shenanigans on top, with the scallops. To round everything else out, we got a spicy tuna hand roll, crunch roll and a couple others that were on the happy hour menu. This place is definitely a place to try.

Happy Hour times seem to be changing constantly, but if you call ahead they’ll let you know what’s up! Either way, regardless of the time you go, you will most likely find a convenient happy hour time!
