Burger King vs. McDonald's: The King's Image Found on Big Mac Bun

You’re looking at a bun from a Big Mac with a grill mark that either is Burger King’s “The King” mascot, or for you Jesus-is-in-my-food crowd, it very well could be Jesus. On June 9th, 2010, a YouTube user uploaded a video that seems to be meant to garner a feeling of comfortability amongst him and his friends as they “happen upon” this top bun with the burned image on it while at a McDonald’s on Fisherman’s Warf in San Francisco, CA. One of the annoying table-mates rants on reminding us of  Burger King commercials and why this could very well be The King‘s doing himself. Would hate to read into this too much, it could just be several kids who indeed did just stumble upon an obscure grill mark. But the question has been raised, is this a failed attempt at viral marketing for the Burger King brand? They are not strangers to this type of marketing in the past.
