Taco Bell: "International Tacos" Caught in the Wild

Haven’t seen any official word from Taco Bell about this new line of tacos, but they were definitely available at a Santa Ana location I hit up earlier today. Possibly an early test product, what we were witness to was a 2 product line of what were referred to as International Tacos. Reminiscent of street tacos, these guys came double wrapped in corn tortillas and came in two different flavor ways, a Hawaiian Taco or a South American version, with your choice of chicken or steak for the exact same prices. The Hawaiian flavor came loaded with the meat, and topped with pineapple chunks, onions and a nice teriyaki-esque glaze. As for the South American flavor, it came with a nice grilled corn and pepper salsa.

Best part about these things? The price. I picked up a combo meal, which included any three variations of these taco flavors and meat, plus a nice-sized drink, for $2.99. Individually they were priced just over a dollar, so the pricing doesn’t seem to be too logical just yet, but by getting the combo meal at the current price, I’m not complaining. Let us know if you catch these products out in your area, what you think of them and how much they cost for you! We’ll be sure to make more official announcements if Taco Bell decides the general public worthy of said announcement.
