vitaminwater: Ditches Website for a Facebook Page

While the rest of the Glaceau brands stick to their heavily flash animated website, a trip to vitaminwater.com will send you to vitaminwater‘s Facebook presence. While this is seemingly temporary (the Glaceau website says it’s “temporarily moved to Facebook”), we do see this as an extremely interesting maneuver for a brand the size of vitaminwater. We’re sure there is a little bit of motivation behind this “temporary” status, as many a food/drink brand will go under website renovation, but the big dogs (of which we shall consider vitaminwater) would have a web team or 3rd party developer of the caliber who would ready a website in a fashion where the end user would not see such a transition. Either way, drink on Foodbeasts!
