Subway Restaurant Numbers Continue to Grow

Within the next few months, Subway restaurants is expected to surpass McDonald restaurant’s number of world-wide locations. This week, Subway looks to pass 31,800 locations while McDonald’s stands a few hundred away at 32,158 locations. Issues of revenue are still very relevant between the two chains though. AdAge reports that the average US McDonald’s had about $2.3 million in sales last year while the average Subway did about $445,000.
