Waffle-Wrapped Bacon Chicken Wings Drizzled in Maple Syrup

It’s happened. Nick over at Dude Foods has officially outdone himself in what some might call crazy, but we like to think it’s pure genius. Sure his Doritos Locos Tacos wrapped in a cheesy layer of bacon or deep-fried bacon cheeseburger were pretty insane, but this ain’t got nothing on Nick’s latest concoction — Maple Bacon Chicken and Waffle Wings.

How he comes up with such greasy bits of delicious, we have no idea, nor are we questioning. And get this — the waffle-wrapped munchies are pretty simple to make. Just take some breaded chicken drumsticks, and whip up your standard waffle mix, adding in cooked bacon chunks to amp up the flavor. Then dip the drumsticks into the glorious batter bath, place in a waffle iron and leave the ends hanging out. Cook until the waffle is golden brown, drizzle with maple syrup and take a big bite out of that bad boy.

Ohh LAWD — someone make us these stat!
