Swimsuit Model Eats Carl’s Jr.’s New Cod Sandwich On a Beach, Because Fish

Apparently, the only way to eat Carl’s Jr.’s new charbroiled Atlantic cod fish sandwich is on a beach, in a bikini and in the hot hot sun. At least, that’s how Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Nina Agdal makes it seem. The new item is the first charbroiled fish sandwich to be featured on a national fast-food chain menu and offers a lighter option at 420 calories. The fish sandwich ($3.99) envelopes a charbroiled Atlantic cod filet in creamy tartar sauce with tomato and lettuce on a sweet honey wheat bun.

Of course, you probably weren’t listening to any of that and was wondering why I had stopped taking about the half-nude model in the above photo. Good News: You can catch Agdal when the Carl’s Jr. commercial for the cod fish sandwich premiers during the Super Bowl on Sunday. ‘Til then, here’s a behind-the-scenes video of Miss Agdal eating the lucky fish on a beach in Hawaii.

Oh, the charbroiled Atlantic cod fish sandwich is now available at all Carl’s Jr. locations and all Hardee’s menus starting Monday. Although, at this point you’ve forgotten that this is an article about food and stopped reading by now, so. . . meow.
