Everywhere You Can Find Free Eats On Veteran’s Day

Although you can honor veterans any day of the year, Verteran’s Day puts a special emphasis on recognizing those who have been, or are in service.

As the U.S. celebrates this November 11, there are several food deals that can help make your Veteran’s Day breakfast, lunch, or dinner more affordable.

For most of these restaurant deals, you simply have to show proof of military service and you can enjoy a free, or discounted meal.

While it may be a small token of gratitude, it can be a nice way for service members to spend the day with family, or generally, enjoy some good eats:

Ruby Tuesday will kick off your veteran-celebrating night with a free appetizer.

If you go to Applebee’s, veterans get a free meal from their “Thank You Menu” which includes meals such as an American Standard All-In burger and even a 7-ounce sirloin.

While not a discount, the classic ice cream shop will donate 11 cents of each ice cream scoop sold to the United Service Organizations.
