New Green Apple Ale Breaks Redd’s Color Barrier

The discrimination of green apples is finally over as Redd’s Apple Ale is finally showing some love to its green-colored counterpart.

Redd’s officially launched Green Apple and Wicked Mango flavors to join their original apple and strawberry flavors.

MillerCoors Vice President David Kroll said, “Last year, Redd’s Apple Ale and Redd’s Wicked Apple pushed boundaries by offering bold flavors and dialed up refreshment, to which our drinkers responded positively.”

Redd’s Green Apple Ale is available in 6- and 12-pack bottles, along with 16-ounce cans. The Wicked Mango flavor is available in 24- and 16-ounce cans, as well as 12-packs of 10-ounce cans.

Of course, you can’t introduce something new without a cheesy AD to accompany it. Now that Green Apple Ale is a thing, say hello to Granny Smith, the sassy grandma who apparently says the darnedest things.

If you think Granny Smith’s name sounds familiar, yes, it’s the name of the apples you pick up at the grocery store. Marketing at its finest.
