OREO Unveils a Golden Fudge Creme Cookie With Birthday Cake Filling

2012 marks the 100th birthday celebration for the OREO cookie brand. As part of the celebration, one of the world’s most popular cookie brands is adding another limited edition product to their range — Birthday Cake Golden OREO Fudge Cremes.

The product comes hot on the heals of the much talked about Birthday Cake OREO launched early February, but this time, the brand’s Fudge Creme cookie gets the “birthday cake” treatment. Come May 2012, the package will be available for a limited time at retailers nationwide.

As soon as you peel back the resealable lid, you’ll catch a whiff of the cake batter frosting aroma. Each cookie has a golden biscuit, a layer of cake batter frosting and a chocolate coated fudge outer coating, topped with sprinkles. We tossed the box around the office until everyone has a sugar coma, but rest assured, these taste pretty delicious.

Each 2-cookie serving will set you back 6 grams fat, 13 grams of sugar and 130 calories. You’re the master of your own destiny, but if you’re a fan of Birthday Cake flavors or Oreo’s range of Fudge Creme cookies, you won’t be disappointed with this new limited-time addition:
