Dad Takes His Little Girl Trick-or-Treating While On A Plane

Just because you can’t take your kid trick-or-treating in a traditional way, doesn’t mean you can’t reach into your bag of tricks, and pull out an unforgettable moment.

Let me show you what I mean.

This dad was on a late flight with his daughter, heading from Boston to San Francisco, meaning his little girl wasn’t going to get to walk the streets, going from door-to-door, filling up her little basket with candy.

Instead of taking the Halloween loss, the dad went to every passenger on his flight, giving them a piece of candy, asking for help with his master plan.

One of the passengers, Stephanie Kahan saw it all go down, Tweeting that along with the candy, the dad passed off a note that read:

“Happy Halloween!

My 3-year-old daughter, Molly, was bummed that she wouldn’t be able to go trick-or-treating this year due to this flight… so I decided to bring trick-or-treating to her. If you are willing, when my little donut comes down the aisle, please drop this in her basket. You’ll be making her Halloween! If you’re unwilling, no worries, just pass the treat back to me. Thanks so much!”

So the request was put forth to the other passengers, as he walked the aisle with his adorable “little donut” and everyone dumped the provided pieces of candy in her candy basket.

The dad and kid were put in an unfortunate situation, having to fly cross-country, but he didn’t panic, and pulled off an experience that his daughter will never forget.
