So Apparently, Green Gummy Bears Are Actually Strawberry Flavored

It’s probably not something you think about, or even bother to check, but in a strange plot twist to the snacks we thought we knew, the green-colored Haribo Gold-Bears are strawberry-flavored.

We’re not ones to profile based on color, but you’d expect the green gummy bears to be lime, apple, or even kale-flavored, but never strawberry.

The color schemes go like this:

Green- Strawberry
Red- Raspberry
Yellow- Lemon
Orange- Orange
That Weird, Clear, Peachy Color- Pineapple

Apparently the signs have been in front of us, we’ve just never thought to look. Back in 2014, when Haribo USA released its Sour Gold-Bears, this was one of its promotional posts:

It was even on a promotional YouTube video:

The flavors are written out on some of the packages and people are freaking out, even regretting life decisions:

According to Thrillist, the red bears in Germany are strawberry-flavored. At least we can all trust Germany.
