FREE PRETZELS: For One Crazy Weekend, Auntie Anne’s And Wetzel’s Are Giving Away Free Pretzels

National Pretzel Day is fast approaching. On Sunday April 26, patrons can get themselves a free pretzel from almost 2,000 commercial pretzel locations around the world. Specifically Auntie Anne’s and Wetzel’s Pretzels.

In honor of National Pretzel Day, the two largest commercial pretzel chains are giving away free pretzels to patrons.

Here’s how to get them:

For Auntie Anne’s customers need to download the Auntie Anne’s mobile app and sign up for the loyalty program, My Pretzel Perks. Once that’s done, they can then bring their devices into the store and claim a free Auntie Anne’s Original or Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel.

Auntie Anne’s will hold their promotion the entire weekend of National Pretzel Day from Friday, April 24 through Sunday April 26. Auntie Anne’s boasts 1,600 locations worldwide.

Wetzel’s Pretzel, however, wants you to do a little more social interacting before giving you a free pretzel. On April 26, customers can walk into a store and declare:

“My name is [Your First Name] Wetzel and I’d like my free pretzel!”

No word on how many times that declaration can be made, though we’re sure it’s once per store. Unlike Auntie Anne’s, however, the Wetzel’s giveaway is limited to one day only.

The deal with be available at all participating locations of Auntie Anne’s and Wetzel’s Pretzels.
