Denny’s Wants To Make A ‘Grand Slam Whopper’ With Burger King

Last week, Burger King reached out to McDonald’s in attempt to bury the hatchet for Peace Day. McDonald’s, however, decline the offer of partnering up to create the McWhopper. Denny’s, however, decided to take Burger King on that offer.

The American diner chain reached out to the burger chain to ideate the name of the burger made from the two brands’ most popular items: The Whopper and the Grand Slam.

Denny’s is already taking out full-page ads to promote this collaboration. While Burger King has yet to respond to Denny’s proposal of a “Peace Burger,” it looks like something delicious enough to work.

International Peace Day takes place on September 21.
