DJ Khaled’s Chef Dee Officially Reveals Who ‘THEY’ Are

DJ Khaled has become a social media icon of late, throwing out catch phrases, showing us his daily routines and even revealing his keys to success.

One of the major keys to his success, at least in his own words, is the delicious cooking from his personal chef Dee Hodges.

Every day, Khaled posts Snapchat videos of himself shuffling into his kitchen, looking for Chef Dee and finding out what “THEY don’t want us to eat.” An expressionless Dee will present the food and quickly describe the delicious food she just made.

Now, the expressionless part is one of the best parts of every Snapchat, even leading to memes like these:

Although she’s clearly in a serious mood on Khaled’s Snapchats, she seems to be a really nice person — so nice that when Bon Appetit caught up with her, she revealed one of the answers DJ Khaled dances around — who are “THEY”?

Every day, Khaled talks about things that “THEY” don’t want him to have, but he never directly addresses who they are.

Chef Dee revealed to Bon Appetit that “THEY” are:

“Whoever is bringing negative energy to positive vibes.”

When Khaled talks about that egg white and turkey sausage breakfast “THEY” don’t want him to have, “THEY” are negative people who don’t want him to eat clean.

Although you could probably guess what Khaled meant by it, we now know for sure, straight from one of his keys to success.
