Get out of town! A beef wellington dish made from 3 In-N-Out hamburgers (animal style), an order of french fries, a cup of fountain water, and salt and pepper packets. Ridiculous!

I figured this was an extremely interesting topic for today. A few days back, a friend of mine and I were discussing what foods bacon might be awesomely paired with. Of all the obscure options we covered, we ended up returning to burgers…and we wondered, how awesome would it be if the stringently simple and brand conscious In-N-Out burger added a “Bacon Burger” to their famous menu? Although I don’t see this happening in the near future…let alone, ever, I did stumble upon a BaconToday article where their author apparently contemplated the same thing. He then went out to his local restaurant to with his own bag of bacon, placed his order, and made the sandwich himself. Oh well, until our dreams come true, we live vicariously through such fan-made substitutes. Eat on!
A more perfect day to indulge in In-n-Out’s infamous Animal Style Fries? Off-menu, but definitely not off-flavor. Their delectable fresh cut fries, smothered in cheese, grilled onions and thousand island dressing. Fork recommended. (PicThx Tom Spaulding)
I think it’s time to come to the realization that every few weeks or so, we’ll succumb to a craving for In-N-Out burger. The above meal is actually the order I would like to place. I have a question though…for anyone who has driven by or been around an actual In-N-Out restaurant, I have a conspiracy theory…I believe the smell that pours out from there and surrounds about half a square mile proximity is actually not from the grills, but an artificial smell that they pump out into the surrounding area. Thoughts? (PicThx alex.lines)
