Canadian Tour Food: Chicken and Vegetables

For day 3, Foodbeast soldier Corey decided he’d keep his meal very traditional. Chicken covered in melted cheese, a dinner roll, mashed rosemary potatoes and steamed vegetables. I wish I had such a good variety of foods in my dinner tonight. Instead I just had this.

Craving: Cinnamon Carrot Bread

This is probably the best thing that ever happened to bread since its collaboration with butter. Cinnamon Carrot Bread is a necessity not only for breakfast, but throughout the day for lunch, dinner, and even snacks! (PicThx VincciWincci)

Craving: Roasted Lamb

Here we have a roasted rack of lamb on a bed of braised leeks, a carrot and panchetta tapenade, all covered in a rosemary balsamic vinaigrette. The outlandish sounds to some of the ingredients’ names just make this entire meal make my mouth water. (Thx Jay Brundege)
