  • President Obama Has a Cholesterol of 209

    According to the latest report from the NYDailyNews, our current President, Mr. Obama, has a cholesterol level of 209. This is a “borderline-high” number, especially in comparison to his level of 173 back in 2007. According to that same article, the president does seem to bum the occasional cigarette (and currently is on the nicotine gum), but all that is probably secondary to the amount of times we caught the President Foodbeasting over the past couple years.     Craving: Cadbury Creme Eggs Benedict

    Eggs benedict is always a classy choice for breakfast. Ever thought about enjoying the same visual style, but in a sweet format? That’s what’s going on here with this ridiculous recreation consisting of a bottom layer of doughnut, a second layer of brownie and then a melty Creme Egg, topped with rich frosting and all of this settles next to a side of fried pound cake meant to make you think of grilled side potatoes. Never have I meant this more (atleast for today), but, GET. OUT. OF. HERE.

    Craving: Kogi BBQ P-Funk Sliders

    About once every couple weeks, Kogi introduces a new featured product that usually has my stomach slapping my face. This week, we’re looking at some tantalizing photos of their latest, a “P-Funk Slider”. These cute little sandwiches come complete with pulled pork, purple cabbage, purple salsa Azul, a bit of sesame mayo, onions and some blue cheese. $6 for a set of 2 at a participating Kogi moving location.

    With Lent in full swing, and with myself ritualistically taking a part in it by giving up meat, a plate of this kind of deliciousness is seriously killing me. We’re looking at a custom bacon horn stuffed to the brim with 20 hot Italian sausages, a pound of scrapple, 4 pork chops, a black pudding sausage, a white pudding sausage, pepperoni and salami. GET.
