Poll Results

Our always scientific, borderline comprehensive polling system has calculated all the results from this past week’s polling, and we have a clearcut winner…according to voters, we see that Coca-Cola is the carbonated beverage of choice when it comes down to its step-cousin Pepsi. 55% of voters leaned towards Coca-Cola, 21% stood by Pepsi, 6% of voters claimed they couldn’t tell the difference and 18% were some demonination of hippie who don’t drink soda because they are the future.

Reflecting upon this poll, I realized it may not have been the most well thought out. Taco Bell is a nationwide chain, while Del Taco finds its roots more strictly on the West Coast, and this definitely had an effect upon the results. Regardless, here is the breakdown from a couple hundred votes.

In what began as one of our most hotly debated and interesting pollings ever, it turns out our food-loving audience has deemed Ice Cream a better frozen alternative to its younger, skinnier and arguably sluttier sister, Frozen Yogurt. During the first few days of our weekly research, the results were actually pouring in in favor of Frozen Yogurt, at one point leading the competition carrying 80% of the vote. As the days marched forward, we saw a progressive swing in the polling place as Ice Cream found its way to a demanding finish, maintaining 62% of the final vote. So even with the influx of “fro-yo” shops across the way, it seems when it comes down to it, if people were stuck on an island and had only one option for a brain freeze, it would be the rich, succulent flavors of Ice Cream. In a pretty extensive majority ruling, you guys have spoken, and have decided that pizza is more tasty when it’s hot than when it is cold. While not scientific and all-inclusive, some of the feedback I’ve gotten points that some people have more than just a toleration for cold pizza leftovers, some even enjoy it a great deal! But, when push came to shove, people would rather their pizza when it’s right out the oven, than when it’s been in the fridge. In the words of my humble bretheren Jay-Z, done with this poll and we on to the next one.

So we asked you all, How Delicious is Bacon? Hundreds of you responded! Over 50% of participants chimed in that Bacon tastes Amazing. 23% of you thought that Bacon was Tasty. 10% of you thought that was simply Alright. 4% of you thought that the taste of Bacon was tolerable, which probably means if it somehow found it’s way into your mouth, you wouldn’t spit it out, but you wouldn’t necessarily enjoy it. And a surprising 6% of you actually find Bacon Disgusting! Thanks for taking part in our poll, and hopefully you guys continue to voice your opinions in our weekly voting debates!
