Domino’s pizza is trying to get serious about a value menu as Feb. 6, it debuted its deal of 16 Parmesan Bread Bites for $1… with the purchase of two $5.99 medium pizzas.

It’s a pretty good deal. You can’t just walk in, give them $1 and take home some bread bites, but it is a nice addition to a family meal. It might have been greatly appreciated if the debut was, say, yesterday when millions of people were buying pizza for a pretty big football game, but hey, you take what you can get.

Domino’s also debuted “Think Oven,” an online suggestion box located on its Facebook page.

I don’t know if anyone ever thought Domino’s was horrible, but it has really been pushing its, ‘We screwed up as a company and we’re trying to get better,’ angle for a couple years now.

I say everyone goes to the “Think Oven” suggestion box and tries to get them to fork out 16 chicken wings for $1.

Participating Yogurtland locations will be celebrating National Frozen Yogurt Day this Monday, February 6 by offering guests FREE frozen yogurt and toppings from 4-7 pm. As apart of the promotion Yogurtland will feature two new flavors: Yo Frappe, a coffee inspired frozen yogurt and Mango Mixer Tart, a fruity blend of mango, passion fruit, green apple, and pineapple. There will also be special commemorative cups and spoons for the celebration, and if you enjoyed the Toki Doki or Hello Kitty stuff, be sure to come out and see what’s store.

Free pizza! What’s there not to be excited about?? Papa John’s Pizza is giving away one FREE large, one-topping pizza and one 2-liter Pepsi MAX for members enrolled in their Papa’s Reward Program if the Super Bowl Coin Toss this Sunday lands on heads.

Add Burger King to the list of restaurants that want you to think about them during Super Bowl weekend. On February 4th and 5th, Burger King will be offering one value sized onion rings per person, per visit. The offer isn’t valid during breakfast hours, but if your see a BK-Lounge this coming weekend, this is your chance to get some free deep fried onion rings.

Founded in 2003, The Counter has spent almost the last decade cementing itself as one of the go-to high end fast casual build-your-own-burger restaurant chains in the United States (they’re in Ireland too). This year, the custom burger house wants some of that Super Bowl day money, and they’ve come up with a deal hoping to position themselves against myriad of folks who will be ordering up pizza and wings.

What can a sit-down restaurant offer? Well think of a taco cart…but a Burger Bar. That’s right, The Counter will offer up a gourmet burger spread, delivered straight to your home, for your friends to customize their own burger.

The way the bar works is simple. Fill out a Burger Bar order form (pictured below, and available on The Counter website), determine how many people will be eating and participating, mix and match your proteins (beef, chicken, turkey, veggie patty), choose your cheeses, sides, sauces and buns, and call or fax your order to your local The Counter location for pick-up or delivery.

Cool, right? Right.

What makes this event more interesting? The Counter is setting a wager with their customers. For everyone ordering the Burger Bar to be delivered on game day, Sunday February 5th, you’re up for a possible free food party. If the 2nd half kickoff is returned for a touchdown, then all Burger Bar orders placed for that Sunday will be FREE.

Super interesting gamble. The likelihood of a returned kickoff isn’t high, obviously, but for the avid gambler, this might be a prop bet worth taking…if you were going to get the Burger Bar anyway.

Starting at noon this Saturday, Friendly’s all over the East Coast will give out Free Fribbles (Friendly’s unique milkshakes) until 5 p.m. in an attempt to reconnect with their customer base.

Friendly’s expects to give away half a million vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry Fribbles during the promotion so get’em while you can! It seems that Friendly’s has been facing some tough times lately as it closed 100 stores to emerge out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
