The dish shows off cellentani pasta, hints of spicy brown mustard, Wisconsin Swiss Cheese, Wisconsin Cheddar Cheese, chopped up pieces of sliced corned beef, soauerkraut, crushed rye chips an Thousand Island dressing drizzled over the rye bread loaf container.

If you’re looking for a sexy way to spice up your Mac & Cheese dishes, this might be the look:

Omelettes are pretty inventive on their own. The longstanding breakfast meal is a super interesting way to loop in many vegetable, lunch meat, even shrimp and other seafood on occasion. But if you’re at our friend Nick, you take the opportunity to infuse another dinner dish right into the core…and the result? A Macaroni & Cheese Omelette.

Using six eggs (normally a ton of eggs for a single omelette, but you’ll need them to keep the macaroni in line), a stuffing of Macaroni and Cheese, more shredded cheese, and a side of hash browns and sausages, breakfast is served. So to speak.

It’s a turbulent time for some. As the Superbowl rapidly approaches, many a home chef will be wondering to themselves, How do I please the strange mixture of people coming over to watch the big game? Should I serve meat pies? No, too manly. Cupcakes? No, what is this, a viewing of 7th Heaven? Wait…wait…I got it…

Buffalo Chicken Super Bowl Cupcakes. I’m not sure what came over the always talented Stef and her incessant need to create awesome things for her cupcake blog, but she’s done it again. And according to her recipe, this isn’t as “disgusting” as the shock value of her picture would lead you to believe.

The buffalo chicken cupcakes aren’t terribly sweet, in fact, they’re more along the lines of “cornbread sweet,” if that helps you get in the right mindset. There’s no chicken in the cupcake, they work great as appetizers, and the entire cake features a blue cheese buttercream frosting.

She’s included a detailed recipe for those looking to break some jaw vertebrates come game day, but here’s a picture to tide you over between link-clicks:

These will for sure be hors d’oeuvre at my next party. And my next breakfast. And my next doctor’s visit. Maybe even to the laundromat. Why not?

Last week, our team was fortunate enough to spend a few hours with our friends over at Taco Bell. They had us in the building to talk about the return of their Beefy Crunch Burrito and give us a tour of their awesome Irvine headquarters.

Oh, and no big deal…they were nice enough to let us into their test kitchen.

Oh, and then they showed us how to roll a burrito. Then we took what we learned, and applied it to do something…well, much larger than a Beefy Crunch Burrito.

The result?

The Double Wide – a two-foot burrito that encompasses everything in the Taco Bell kitchen, all the meats, all the sauces and all the veggies. The massive burrito weighed a couple pounds and barely squeezed into their press for the final grill session (diagonal burrito in a square hole, ftw).

Without further ado, The Double Wide:

The closest interpretation I can find to this following creation would be a Hot Pocket. Imagine a puff pastry, cheesy innards, and some sort of meat to keep it relevant. Talented food pornographer Mirko has decided to make things a bit more sexy, opting for a home constructed puff coat, a giant sausage in a bacon-cheese cover and an appetite for a sexy cross-section photograph.

No need for a catchy name, I’ll just refer to it as a Huge Sausage, wrapped in Bacon and Cheese, Protected by a Puffy Pastry Jacket. Rolls right off the tongue, don’t you think?

Well…atleast I’m specific:

Some times food looks so good, so well-constructed, and so creative it just brings a tear to my eye. In the case of the always talented Mirko, the mind behind personal food blog Fat and Tasty, he’s truly making me cry with this Superman Pizza. The dough is in the shape of the iconic silhouette, cheese is obviously in attendance, and thin sausage slices make the “S” on the chest.

I’m super curious as to how Mirko ended up slicing this bad boy up. How would you do it if you had the chance? Slice it into quarters? Maybe long, horizontal stripes (shorter obviously as you get towards the bottom’s narrow point). Here’s a look at the pizza prior to the oven:
