Best Dad Ever Illustrates His Kids’ Lunch Bags Every Day Since 2008

sandwich-art

When I was a kid I’d cover my paper lunch bags with crayola doodles of block letters and think it was the coolest sh*t ever. Oh, how David LaFerriere‘s own sandwich art puts me to shame. Graphic designer and dad, LaFerriere has been creating whimsical drawings for his kids’ sandwich bags since 2008.

With a Sharpie in hand, he illustrates a different drawing for each sandwich, takes a photo, then posts it to his flickr account. His children wait until lunchtime to see the drawings, making their meals even more awesome.

Check out some of the sandwich art below, then peep more here.
