Looks Like Taco Bell Forgot to Tell Its Franchisees the Cool Ranch DLT Was Supposed to Come Out Today

“What do you mean you didn’t hit send?!”

We’ve all been there, that awful moment when you try to do a good thing and one little thing that’s completely out of your control goes wrong and everything just goes to sh*t. For anyone who didn’t get to try the new Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco today like Taco Bell promised you could, please try to understand. It was probably just a miscommunication, a fluke, an oversight. There’s no need to spam the Taco Bell twitter page with angry, damning tweets or its Facebook page with threats of legal action.

(No matter how hilarious they are.)

On the other hand, we got to taste the Cool Ranch DLT way back in June 2012 so for all of you who’ve had to suffer this long without tasting the purest essence of beauty . . . what can I say? Sucks to suck.

Weird. Our local Taco Bell had them yesterday. The wife and I loved them!

This is rediculous. I went to my taco bell and I was told it was coming out on the 7th. I told them that it should be released on the 6th, pulled out my phone and showed them the Taco Bell Facebook with the announcement. I didnt have time to wait for the taco shells to heat up so the manager apologized and bought me lunch to make up for it.

If the cool ranch ones taste as bad as the regular doritos one – who cares? I’m more interested to know why they put a whole salad’s worth of lettuce in any of their tacos and then four to five shreds of cheese on top. Oh yeah – cheese costs a lot more than lettuce. But they should still put a reasonable amount of cheese in there. They never have.
