Here’s Some Cheeseburger Wine to Pair with that Big Mac

Rootstock Cellars has devised a bottle of wine affectionately known as “Cheeseburger Red,” ($12.99) designed specifically with the patty in mind, and is described as, “smooth and jammy, bursting with red fruit that so perfectly compliment a slight char.” After all, why should all the fun be reserved for steak when a decent burger coats your mouth with the same fatty unctuousness. This light, fruity wine has the ability to bring out the best components of the burger, including its richness, while not allowing the wine itself to become overpowered and forgotten.

So while it’s not exactly a burger in a bottle, it makes for a nice red to pair with that Big Mac. Nothing like rolling up to Mickey D’s with a bottle of wine. . . classy, fo sho.
