Man Wins a Bet to Eat 28 Raw Eggs, but Loses His Life in the Process

I’m guessing not much good can come of taking on a bet of eating 28 raw eggs in one sitting.

According to reports, a young Tunisian man has reportedly died after winning a bet to eat 28 raw eggs. The 20-year-old, a Dhaou Fatnassi, from the town of Kairouan, swallowed the eggs after being challenged by his friends for a currently undisclosed amount of money.

Following the challenge, Fatnassi reportedly experienced stomach pains and was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

I’m not a fan of how this article ends. It doesn’t say why he died. It makes the reader assume too much. There is no more information online either. It’s a bummer that people will read this and automatically think it was due to raw eggs, not the quantity or possibly some other issue.
